Looks Can Be Deceiving
Oh how sweet, right? Yes but think again. :) She is a stink! She is so bossy and knows exactly what she wants. Even down to picking out her own clothes! If I pick the wrong thing, she throws a fit. Even down to hair and shoes. If she wants something, she comes and smack your leg and says mom or dad and tries to get you to stand up. But look at that face. How can you resist?
What an Eventful Day!
Cooper had surgery on March 22nd to fix a hernia. We headed up to the new Primary Children's Riverton. The surgeon told us we would be in and ready to go home within 1 1/2 hours. We had to be there at 8:00. Well, we were definately not out by 9:30. Cooper had a really hard time coming out of the anesthesia. When he woke up he was MAD! Spencer was back with him and it took Spencer plus two nurses to get him under control. Cooper gave Spencer several head butts. This went on for and hour! The drugs they were giving him had no effect. They finally gave him ketamine and he was out like a light. When I was finally able to see him, the poor guy was so sweaty and had scrathes and bruises all over from all the fighting. When he finally woke up, he was happy as could be and all he could talk about was the wagon ride. :)
Pre Surgery
After Versed. He kept trying to sit up but could only barely lift up his head. It was pretty funny but the versed did not have the effect I was hoping for. It really made him kind of combative. He did not want to stay laying down.
Awake and ready to go.
We had only been home for a couple of hours and then this happened...
The boys were at a neighbors getting haircuts. Tegan had just finished and we were starting on Cooper when Ty screamed: Mom, Tegan's eye is bleeding! I run out to see him being carried up the stairs with blood running down his face. He had a huge gash under his right eyebrow. I lifted up his shirt and stuffed it in the cut. We jumped in the car, got Spencer and headed to the ER. He too was knocked out with ketamine and three stitches later was ready to go. Eventful day right!
