Halloween was beautiful this year. The weather was perfect. The kids had a great time as usual. All the kids loved their costumes except Tegan of course. He didn't want to wear the hood so whatever. He loved getting the candy though! It was also my dad's birthday. We had him and Mehl Ree down for dinner and to enjoy the festivities. Thanks for joining us! Well, here's to next year.
We carved pumpkins a few days before Halloween. Ty and Cooper have been bugging us forever to do their pumpkins. My Dad and Mehl Ree grew pumpkins this year and Ty picked out the pumpkins for the family. Ty carved his all by himself! He did a great job. Cooper, Teryn, and Tegan all had some help from their dad. Thanks Spencer for doing that! Tegan wanted nothing to do with the pumpkins this year! Quite a change from last year. Last year he sat with a spoon and ate the guts! The finished product turned out great.
The kids were out of school last Friday and I really didn't want to stay home. We haven't been to the zoo in quite awhile so we made the trek north and spent the day. The weather was perfect and the kids were great. We were able to see all the animals. They were very active and it was really fun for the kids to see them. We enjoyed the train and the carousel. I was a little nervous about taking all the kids by myself but they were great. I made Teryn and Tegan stay in the stroller until we saw the giraffes. Tegan loved being out of the stroller. He was great walking around and enjoying his freedom. Teryn stuck right by me as usual. Ty was a huge help with Tegan. Cooper loved everything about the zoo but his favorite thing was the orangutan picking its nose!
Ty played flag football again this year. He had a really great time especially because he had some friends on his team. He was on a Mona team this year and that was really nice. Ty did a great job and really improved a lot over the season. Now on to basketball!
